Course fee
The first (lower) amount is valid when participants opt to stay in one of the hotels that are listed as being involved in the Arosa Music Course Weeks (see accommodation) on condition that the booking is made through us. This offer is made possible thanks to the active support of these hotels towards the Arosa Music Course Weeks.
The second (higher) amount listed is valid for accommodation in other hotels. Participants who book through another agent (such as booking.com), via Hotelcard or directly at the course hotels at special prices must also pay the higher course fees and must indicate that this is the case when booking a course. If this information is passed to us by the hotel at a later date, the outstanding difference in fee will be invoiced.
If hotel bookings made through Arosa Kultur are cancelled in favour of accommodation that is not in one of our course hotels, the higher course fee will apply. In this event the difference in price will be charged to the applicant. The same applies if we discover this discrepancy after the course has finished, at which point a bill will be issued to the participant for the difference in price.
If you are booking a holiday apartment, the higher course fee also applies, even if the apartment belongs to one of our course hotels.
Course fees are listed for each course and include the cost of the course itself as well as any material (where applicable). Course fees do not include the cost of accommodation.
Application/Enrolment Fee
Closing date for registration is 31st May (autumn courses: 31st July). For later registrations we charge an enrolment fee of CHF 50. – .
Validity of the application/Refunds
Applicants will receive confirmation of their registration within three weeks, as well as an invoice and payment slip. Registration is from then on considered as definite and binding for both parties!
In case of cancellation, the following part of the course fee will be refunded: 100 % if cancellation is registered before 30th April (autumn courses: before 30th June); 50 % if cancellation is registered before 31st May (autumn courses: before 31st July). If cancellation is received after the closing date for application fees will not be refunded.
In June you will receive all the necessary course documents and the invitation to the opening of your course (or at the end of August for the autumn courses).
Cancellation insurance
We recommend taking out insurance to cover the costs of cancellation in the event of your being unable to participate due to illness, accident or pandemic (for example by ALLIANZ Travel).

Discounts
Early Bird Discount
Applicants who book before the end of February will be given a discount of CHF 40.– for each course.
Loyalty Discount
From the 6th year of participation and registration before the end of February we grant an additional reduction of CHF 60.– for each course.
Anyone who has already taken part in the Music Course Weeks Arosa for a total of 10, 20 or 30 years (at least one course per year) will receive a free course of their choice (without accommodation) in the 11th, 21st or 31st year.
Discount for trainees, apprentices and students
Trainees, apprentices and students who attend courses that are open to adults are eligible for a discount of CHF 100.– per course (short courses and for some dance courses CHF 50. – ). Courses for children and young people: considerably reduced for a second child and further children from the same family.
